Micro FUE Sapphire Technique

Tecnica-micro-FUE-Zafiro

Fue Sapphire Hair Transplant.

FUE hair transplant with sapphire scalpels is one of the most used methods to carry out hair transplantation.

The characteristic that distinguishes the FUE Sapphire hair transplant from the classic FUE hair transplant is that the operation is performed with blades made of a precious stone called sapphire. The use of a sapphire tip instead of the classic surgical steel means that opening microchannels in the area where the hair follicles will be transplanted accelerates the healing process of the recipient area.

Since the open micro channels are smaller and more accurate, tissue healing after the operation is faster than with surgical steel blades.

Phases in fue zafiro hair transplantation:

The hair follicles are extracted from the donor area one by one using a micromotor whose diameter is variable, being able to be 0.6, 0.7 or up to 0.8 mm under local anesthesia. After the extraction of the follicles, the micro channels are opened with the sapphire scalpels. The extracted follicles are grafted one by one into these micro channels with the help of tweezers specially designed for this purpose. The most critical point of the last stage is to place the follicles one by one at angles of 45/60 degrees and in the right directions.

Advantages of the FUE Sapphire:

The FUE technique, performed with sapphire blades, offers the opportunity to implant in a single session up to five thousand five hundred follicular, something especially interesting for patients with widespread alopecia

Transplanted grafts offer over the months a very natural looking result. Since the canal is opened by injecting less subcutaneous fluid than with classic acerol blades, the amount of edema after the operation is reduced. The smooth surface of the sapphire tip, which has antibacterial properties, creates much less vibration in the skin, thanks to its sharpness and durability. This minimizes tissue damage which makes skin recovery faster.
